Between the months of May 1'st and August 15th bat control is not allowed to be performed by any nuisance wildlife control professional except by applying for a special permit for each job. Then it will be up to the state of Georgia to decide if the job can be done or not. Why? Bats have babies during these months and if the adults are removed most of the time the babies will die. Bat control is not a new process. In fact bat problems can be eliminated fairly easy in many cases. The hard part is keeping them out once they have been removed. Other ares of entry may be present that the bats may not be utilizing but once removed from one area will try any other available entry points to get back in.This can be a very frustrating process and for the average person can become a case or trial and error until you get it all sealed up.
